SellerLegend Navigation Basics ​

SellerLegend's interface contains multiple screen layouts optimized for specific workflows while maintaining consistent design principles.

Dashboard Screens ​

Key Traits:

  • Visually rich with interactive charts, KPI tiles, and optional widgets
  • Focused on trend tracking and high-level metrics
  • Customizable by date range and context

Purpose: Provide at-a-glance insights into business performance and trends.

Examples:

  • Marketplace Dashboard: Overall account performance
  • Product Dashboard: SKU-specific performance metrics
  • Sponsored Product Dashboard: Advertising KPIs

Columnar Layouts (Lists & Reports) ​

Key Traits:

  • Tabular data presentation with sortable columns and filter options
  • Ideal for reviewing large data sets in detail

Purpose: Analyze, sort, and manage detailed operational data.

Examples:

  • Product List: SKU, ASIN, sales rank, pricing details
  • Inventory List: Stock status, days of coverage, reorder flags
  • Monthly Valuation: Inventory value by month

Forms & Modals (Pop-ups & Panels) ​

Key Traits:

  • Context-specific panels triggered by user actions
  • Primarily used for data input, updates, or configuration changes

Purpose: Guide users through focused actions.

Examples:

  • COGS Entry Screens
  • Product Settings Forms
  • Group Definitions Panel

Core Interface Elements ​

SellerLegend Logo: Clicking navigates to the Main Dashboard for your default marketplace or group.

Menu Bar: Vertical or horizontal menu providing access to all modules: Inventory, Orders, Sales, Ads, Settings, etc.

Dark/Bright Mode Toggle: Switches between dark and light themes.

Knowledge Base Link: Directs to help articles specific to current screen.

Bookmark Feature: Saves the current screen with applied filters and view settings.

Recent Notifications: Dropdown showing system alerts, sync warnings, and feature updates.

Account Profile: Access profile settings, subscription info, API keys, and logout.

Marketplace/Group Selector: Switch between individual marketplaces or custom marketplace Groups.

Currency Selection: Temporarily view data in different currencies using stored exchange rates.

Exchange Rate Viewer: Opens a table showing daily exchange rates used for conversions.

Screen Title: Displays screen name with date range or applied filters.

Getting Started Guide: Interactive walkthrough for new users.

Tile Settings: Change displayed metrics, date ranges, and dashboard visibility.

Add Tiles: Add new KPI tiles or widgets from a metrics library.

Table Sort Settings: Sort table rows by any column.

Omni Search Bar: Global search field that searches all columns simultaneously.

Set Filters: Opens filter panel to refine data by specific field values.

Clear Filters: Removes all active filters and resets to default data.

Export Current Data: Downloads current view as Excel or CSV.

Show Default View: Resets screen to saved default settings.

Edit Default View: Change saved filters, columns, and sorts.

Reset Default View: Reverts custom default to original SellerLegend layout.

All Fields View: Temporarily shows all possible fields/columns.

Save As New View: Save current layout as named custom view.

Click the top navigation menu to view all screens within each category. Bookmark frequently used screens for quicker access -- bookmarked items display immediately when opening the menu. Clicking main menu sections reveals dropdown lists with submenu options.

Filters ​

The Filters button (funnel icon) is located on the left-hand taskbar. Clicking displays all filters in one place. Note that screen scrolling is disabled while using filters to improve speed and responsiveness. Options include: Filter, Save, Load Filters, and Reset.

Tabular screens feature a Search box that searches all columns for entered values, located left of the Filters button. Press "/" or click the Search icon to activate. The omni-search filters all columns, displaying only rows matching the search term.

Function:

  • Press Enter to apply search and close
  • Press Esc to discard and close
  • Click elsewhere applies search like Enter
  • Click "x" removes search term without closing

Marketplace Selector ​

Click to view marketplaces list. Use the search box for large numbers of marketplaces. Options to create account groups and add new marketplaces are included in the selector.

Documentation Panel ​

The help panel displays links to relevant Knowledge Base articles specific to the current screen. Click titles to open links in new tabs.

Notifications ​

Clicking the Bell icon shows recent notifications. Red circles indicate unread notifications; green circles indicate read ones. Options to mark all as read and access the Notifications settings screen are available.

Profile ​

The profile button displays personal information. Access profile details through the Profile button in the Menu panel. View payments and subscription information via the Payments option.

Dark Theme ​

Toggle between Dark and Light themes using the available button.

Shortcuts ​

Several keyboard shortcuts provide user convenience:

Double-press CTRL: Brings up main menu. Use Up/Down arrow keys to navigate and press Enter to access highlighted screens.

Single-press:

  • "/": Omni-search box
  • "?": Filters

Text-Based Shortcuts: Type outside text boxes to navigate:

  • "inv": Inventory
  • "home": Home
  • "ord": Orders
  • "sale": Sales Statistics
  • "list": Products List
  • "out": Log out
  • "mp": Account/marketplace switcher
