When Will My PPC Costs Be Reflected in SellerLegend?
Data Availability Timeline
Amazon PPC data isn't available in real-time. The system follows a delayed reporting pipeline:
Today's data: Not accessible. Amazon typically releases PPC data within 12-18 hours. During high-traffic events (Prime Day, Black Friday) or in certain regions (India, UAE, Turkey), delays may exceed 24 hours.
Yesterday's data: Incomplete when first published and subject to retroactive updates for up to 7 days.
When SellerLegend Downloads PPC Data
Data collection begins at 5 PM UTC daily:
- For North American marketplaces: aligns with 9 AM PST / 10 AM PDT
- For European marketplaces: corresponds to 5 PM GMT / 6 PM BST
- Smaller marketplaces may experience longer processing delays
The platform requests 14 reports per marketplace (7 for Keyword Ads covering Sponsored Products, 7 for Product Ads covering Sponsored Display and Brands). Processing takes approximately 7-8 hours per marketplace due to API rate limits.
Expected Dashboard Timeline
| Region | Approximate Availability |
|---|---|
| US marketplaces | ~5 PM PST |
| EU marketplaces | ~6 PM UTC |
| Other regions | May require 24-48 hours |
Why Data Changes Later
Amazon applies post-processing validation over 7 days, including:
- Click fraud filtering
- Conversion attribution delays (up to 14 days post-click)
- Cart abandonment tracking
- A/B testing adjustments
As a result, PPC spend, attributed sales, and ACoS can change significantly for recent dates.
Best Practices
Rely on data at least 7 days old for accurate reporting and treat recent figures as provisional.
