What Are Product Groups?

Product Groups function as organizational tools that allow you to categorize and track financials across related products. This feature is valuable for analyzing brand performance, managing product lines, or organizing seasonal variations.

Creating a Product Group

  1. Navigate to Admin > Product Groups from the top menu
  2. Click the New button
  3. Enter your desired name in the Group Title field
  4. Select Save

Your new product group is immediately available for assignment.

Assigning Products to Groups

Access Products and Inventory > Product List. For each product you want to assign:

  1. Click the Kebab Menu (three dots) on the right side
  2. Select Edit Product
  3. Navigate to the Product Settings tab
  4. Locate the Product Grouping section
  5. Open the Product Group dropdown and select your desired group
  6. Click Save

Bulk Assignment Methods

Within the UI

Select multiple products using checkboxes in the Products List, click the Edit button in the column header, assign the group, and save.

Via Excel

Utilize the bulk upload feature for updating hundreds of product groups simultaneously.

Viewing Group Financials

On financial screens offering the Group Statistics By option (Sales Statistics, Profit & Loss, etc.), click this feature and select Product Group from the sidebar popup. The display will refresh to show aggregated data by group.

Access Considerations

Product Groups are account-level — all guest users can see group names, though guests only access data from accessible marketplaces.
